Joliet In Shock Over Double Murder
Joliet, IL., Jan. 10, 2013 – When police entered the home of 18-year old Alisa Massaro on a tip that two dead bodies were inside, they were not quite prepared for what greeted them. Over the following weeks the alleged depravity of Massaro and three of her friends would shock the city of Joliet and beyond.
On Thursday, January 10th, police discovered the bodies of Eric Glover and Terrance Rankins, both 22-year old men. By Friday afternoon, police had charged Adam Landerman, 19; Alisa Massaro, 18; Bethany McKee, 18; and Joshua Miner, 24, with six counts of first degree murder.
Sex With Corpses
Police allege that the group lured Glover and Rankins to Massaro’s home, where they were robbed and strangled to death. The Joliet Patch, in a February 26th story, related some of the disturbing events that took place after the double murder. Citing police reports, the article states that Miner allegedly confessed to having sex with Massaro on top of the corpses of the two men, and that Massaro later confirmed it.
McKee claimed the idea made her uneasy, and she left the “party” as the sex was being discussed. McKee actually left the home twice after the murders – one time to drop her one-year old off at the babysitter’s. Reports indicate that McKee suggested that Adam Landerman may have joined in on the sex, once the corpses were laid side-by-side. McKee’s defense attorneys want to put the Patch.com reporter on the stand to find out how he obtained the police reports.
When police finally showed up, the accused murderers were quite surprised. Police found the suspects playing video games after allegedly trying to dismember the corpses.
The Juggalo Connection
JuggaloNews.com has an article on the online profiles of the suspects. Alisa Massaro describes herself as a Juggalo with a love for Insane Clown Posse. The article shows a quote from Josh Miner on Zoom Atlas Social Map describing himself as “CRAZZY-NUTTZZ THE VAMP JUGGALO”. Bethany McKee describes herself as a Christian. “i dont hate but do dislike alot,” is one quote from her Facebook page, according to the article.
Josh Miner is the only one in the group with a prior record. After his arrest, a former girlfriend claimed on Facebook that he had branded a swastika and an upside down cross on her buttocks, and threatened to strangle her baby with her own intestines. Adam Landerman is the son of a Joliet police sergeant. At last report, all the suspects were being held on a 10 million dollar bond.
